5Very pleased-- good value for price and works great
By Granite City Green Guy
Bought this to replace an old metal slow cooker; the crock of course makes all the difference. This unit is well designed, maintains a constant temp, and is easy to clean. Size is good for a family, we've made roasts, soups, dressing, etc. for groups from 4-10 so far .My only concern is the long-term performance of the plastic parts of the lid locking mechanism; they are fine now and may last forever, who knows.

I've never had a slow cooker with a digital display or timer. I'm not sure why you'd want one...in the words of my grandmother, "it's just one more thing to break." The way we use it it's always turned on in the morning before work (on low) and cooks all day. A timer or digital display would make no difference. There are slow cookers for $100+ out there but this Crock-Pot meets my needs quite well.

5Terrific Purchase!
By Kari Ftizhugh
This Crock-Pot is very easy to travel with. The locks on both ends seal very tightly. Cooks well and cleans up even better! Looks beautiful all the rest of the time. Shipping time was unbelieveably fast. I would purchase again, great product.

3Good crock pot, but not great - gets the job done
By Sheepsaymoo
I bought this for my shared house (with 6 people). We like to have family style dinners, and this was the perfect solution to make enough food for everyone!

For the price point, this is a good crockpot. Not great. Mediocre. But for the price, it serves it's purpose and has done good by me for 5 months!

It heats REALLY slow (almost abnormally slow) but once it gets up to speed it does great. I have simmered chilli in it all day, cooked a roast for a few hours on high, and made tons of baked potato soup. It heats nicely at a pretty regular temperature. Its heat setting are true - the warm keeps the pot roast just warm enough for the roomie that gets off work late, the low is really good for a long cook, and the high cooks food pretty fast for a crock pot. The settings are simple, but hey - don't fix it if it's not broken! It would be nice to have a medium, though.

I love the fact that the ceramic cooking basin comes out and is easy to clean! We have been pretty rough on it and it does't have one scratch or nick. And the fact that it's HUGE it so awesome. We fit a 3 lb roast, and a huge amount of potatoes, carrots, and the fixins in there no problem, even after the roast seeped.

The lid fits snugly, and when transporting it I have never had a problem despite hitting a bump and having a little bit of leakage out of the top hole for ventilation.

It's not a high performance crock pot, by far - but it gets the job done quite nicely for now.
