Great item!

This little pot is perfect for me. Makes it simple to set it & forget it. Clean-up is a breeze! Love that it has a stainless steel pot to cook food in! For a single, couple, or small family, this 5 qt. size is just right! If you want to feed an army then opt for the larger one. See specs for amount of space required ... they're pretty accurate. This is much easier & safer than the last one I owned.

Excellent Product!

A well thought out and expertly crafted product with quality materials! Easy programming with presets available for most popular foods, each with custom adjustments for user cooking preferences. A "Manual" mode is also available for complete flexibility for setting cooking time with each of the three cooking methods, Pressure, Steam, and Slow Cooking. The stainless steel cook pot insert will spot, presumably from the hard water mineral deposits endemic in my area. This is not a problem and these can be removed with a commercial cleaner or vinegar rinse if desired.
This versatile cooker is easier, quicker and more convenient than my well used range pressure cooker, steamer and electric slow cooker. Add to this the auto settings for delayed start and auto switch from cooking to warm mode with this exceptional product. With the exception of my rice cooker which is timed by amount of water added, the Instapot is now my choice for all pot cooking. And one more plus, there is little to no steam released in the Steam or Pressure cooking modes, unless manually released by user.

Super pressure cooker!

Excellent product. Very easy to make rice and congee. Just press one button and you are done. The price is very reasonable which make me wonder how those Japanese rice cookers worth 300 bucks. For what reason?
