5Nice product & good value
By Psyflower
I got this in an effort to minimize all the clutter in my cabinets, and I'm very happy with this little juicer. I still use the juicer attachment to my stand mixer for larger jobs, but for everyday use when cooking, this little juicer is great. I like that I can juice just one lemon or lime for a recipe and I can also measure the amount with the same piece of equipment. So often, a recipe will call for just a tablespoon or so of juice, and this way I don't have to dirty up a larger juicer and then a measuring spoon. I also like the non-slip padding on the underside.

5Low-cost Citrus Juicer
By AverageGuyShopper
I was looking for a lemon and lime juicer, something easy to use and cheap. This item fits the bill wonderfully.

It's three pieces. The bottom cup has a little spout on it. It also has a non-skid ring on the bottom to help prevent splippage. The top and bottom cups are graduated with Tbls, ml, and Cups measurements. All three pieces fit very well together and disassemble easily. Also, the manufacturer states that this is dishwasher safe, though I hand-wash mine.

My mother in law has already made lots and lots of bottles of her "healthy" style lemonade with this contraption. When you're done, it fits easily into a tall drawer/cubbard.

It is made entirely out of plastic, so we'll see how long this thing lasts, though I personally only plan to use it infrequently.

All in all, I feel like I got a really good value at ~$5, especially compared to all these other more expensive juicers that may or may not juice all that well.

UPDATE 5 years later:
Well, it's now spring 2013, and we still use this little item to make lemonade. We also wash it in the dishwasher. Still works great and in great shape.

5As great as it gets.

I was initially hesitant about buying a plastic juicer. The glass ones seemed so much easier to clean, stronger, more sanitary and like they would be easier to use. Those assumptions were totally wrong. My wife pointed out to me afterwards that this one worked better because the plastic edges on the dome are sharper and as the fruit gets turned, the sharp edges actually pop the cells of the fruit so that the juice can be released. For safety reasons, the ridges on glass and other plastic models are rounded and do not have this popping effect.

Secondly, the dome and strainer at the bottom fit very snuggly onto the bottom which is made of a very high grade plastic. It even has a rubber ring on the bottom so that the juicer doesn't turn as you spin the fruit. Don't worry if you think it will break. I am quite strong (and decently heavy) and there is no give or wobble in the product even when I lean on it with my full weight.

Just to test it, I to ok a lime which I had already used another juicing tool on and used this juicer to see what more I could get out of it. More came out of it than with the original. This one just seems to be designed way better.

I realize that it seems rather silly to get excited over a juicer that costs less than $10 but I do a lot of cooking with citrus fruits and this has made life so much easier. Get one and you won't be disappointed.
