5Compact but powerful, easy to use, easy to clean chopper
By Ava Wendt
So far I've only used this on two foods. I chopped chicken strips and celery chunks (separately) to make chicken salad. The fact that it has a bottom blade and another about an inch above allows it to do a better, quicker job of chopping the pieces that get thrown up by the bottom blade than others I've tried that only have a bottom blade. Those usually chop the bottom layer too fine and leave big pieces untouched. I also liked that there are few parts: the motor/lid, the 3-cup bowl, the blade unit, and a base that detached to serve as a lid. It is easy to disassemble and clean - - just don't submerge the power head. For empty nesters or singles, this is big enough to prepare the quanities we need without seeming like "shooting rabbits with a cannon." I shopped around and found that Amazon had the best price.

3Neat Little Chopper
By P. Albritton
I wanted a small little chopper to make my own salsa..just a few cups at a time, and this one fills that bill okay. The one problem I have is it does not chop up the tomatoes completely. After running it PLENTY of times and dumping out the salsa, there are always BIG chunks of tomatoes unchopped in the mix. I end up putting those chunks BACK in the chopper and hitting them again. A minor little glitch, but slightly annoying. I have to experiment with putting less material in the chopper and see if that helps...but then I end up taking just as long and is equal trouble as rechopping the unchopped pieces. Also, it doesn't really "chop" up the food. It is more of a blender type consistency when its done.

5love enough we bought another
By twoplusoneplusone
This was our second chopper, the first one finally stopped working after 7 years and practically daily use. It was a great staple for our kitchen I used it almost every day, chopping, mixing, making smoothies, baby food, you name it. I can't believe the first one lasted as long as it did, we really beat the tar out of it. I was excited to see they still sold them, we ordered one the same day the first one broke.
