Wonderful Crock pot, great price!

This Crock Pot is so much nicer than the other one in the same price range here. I bought a Rival Crock Pot at Walmart, that overheated, had a bad fitting lid and low was a boil.

This little baby arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. It has a warm setting, doesn't leak or spit like the other one did, and heated right up to right temperature right away. It even has a Warm setting so I can leave my soup on all day without overcooking.

Buy this Crock Pot, you will be glad you did!

Problems with this slow cooker

I've used Amazon to buy a lot of things before in the past. However, this is my first time writing a review.

As usual, I did a bit of research prior to purchasing this product. Comparing it to other slow cookers sold on Amazon.com, it had the highest star rating and everyone wrote great reviews about it. Thus, I decided to order it.

When I cooked with this slow cooker the first time, it was fine. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, after I used it again for the second time 1 week later and washed it afterwards, parts of the inside of the slow cooker which was originally black turned white. The paint or coating they used just faded away after my second use. I did not use any scraper or unusual chemicals to clean it. I simply used liquid detergent and the soft side of the sponge to clean it. Fortunately, I contacted Amazon.com, and they were nice enough to let me return it even though I had tossed the original box away.

I just thought I woul d share my experience with everyone. It could have been that I just happened to get a defective slow cooker. However, you should save your original box just in case.

Crock pot

We love it. The size is just right for our needs and We'll use it a lot! It does a great pot roast with vegetables. Open the freezer and dump in a couple of bags of our home grown vegetables along with some beef and a stock and wait for the results.
